Monique Reid

The term ‘born to sing’ describes Monique. Born to Reverend Clement and Missionary Sonia Reid, she started singing at the tender age of three alongside her siblings. From this family group Monique went on to become an accomplished singer in her own right. Her credits include working with Michael Bolton, Beverley Knight, Steel Pulse, US3, and many more.

Monique is also a talented songwriter, vocal tutor and arranger.  She first joined Black Voices in 1998. Taking time out from singing to obtain a Law Degree, Monique forged a successful career in law, however her love and passion for singing always takes centre stage.
